Billy King just pulled the trigger on two moves today with a couple of reserve players on the end of Brooklyn’s bench.
Yahoo Sports is is reporting that the Brooklyn Nets are finalizing two separate trades.
One would send Tornike Shengelia (Toko) to the Chicago Bulls for reserve point guard Marquis Teague and the other would be trading Tyshawn Taylor and cash to the New Orleans Pelicans for a low end future pick.
Both moves seem salary cap related and would help Brooklyn in the luxury tax more than getting a heavily protected second rounder.
The Toko-Teague trade won’t be official for a couple days per sources as the NBA offices are closed until Monday.
