Nets came out a bit slow but Brook Lopez and Deron Williams immediately got them on a 10-0 run to lead 12-6. The Nets ran their sets flawlessly in the quarter. Lopez was on fire shooting fade away jumpers and hitting for 14 points in the quarter on 7-9 shooting. Nets led 28-24 after one.
As usual the Bench Mob started the second and kept the offense flowing. The Sixers made enough shots to keep it close at 35-30 Nets. Brooklyn chants rained down in Philly midway through the second. Dorell Wright hit a couple of threes and had 10 points for the Sixers to get them a 43-41 lead with two to play. Sixers shooting 54 percent from the field and went on a 7-0 run. Sixers lead at half 53-46. Lopez ended with 16 points and Williams had 5 points, 9 assists to go with 4 rebounds.
Williams started the second half with a 3-pointers and a Nets 5-0 run. Nets defense was awful to start the third and they quickly went down 67-58 with six minutes gone by. Sixers hit 12 of 17 shots in a good offensive stretch. Sixers take their biggest lead of the game with a Spencer Hawes jumper. Up 10 pts, 74-64 late third. Williams put the Nets on his back tonight with 14 points in the third. Nets fight back from 14 down to trail 82-75 after three. Sixers still shooting 56 percent which is UNACCEPTABLE.

Williams just scored his 10,000th career point to give him 23 for the game early fourth. Nets down 88-83 with 8 to play and Williams scorching hot. Nets dominating the boards. They’ve got 41 rebounds (17 off 24 def) vs 28 rebounds (9 off 19 def) for #Sixers. Reggie Evans leads with 8 rebounds. Nets down 91-87. The Nets simply could not get a stop and allowed the awful shooting Sixers to pick them apart. Sixers up 102-96 with under a minute to play. Nets shot 3 of their last 13 and gave away a huge divisional game to the Sixers 106-97.
Williams ended with 27 points, 13 assist and 6 rebounds.

GAME CHANGER: The Nets allowed the horrid shooting Sixers to outscore them 29-18 in the second quarter. The Sixers had their highest point total in almost two months with 106.
