Cavs 100 – Nets 103

The Nets beat the Cleveland Cavaliers tonight 103-100 behind a huge game from Brook Lopez with 35 points and 11 rebounds.

The game was there for the taking late in the fourth when the Nets could not extend or hold a lead as normal but this time they held on long enough and made their free throws late in the game to get the win.

The Nets completed the important task of winning both games this weekend before their New Years Eve game at San Antonio for new coach PJ Carlesimo.  The Nets can now go and play the Spurs and the Thunder with some confidence and the feeling of winning again.
