Bobcats 81 – Nets 97

The Nets came out against the struggling Charlotte Bobcats, losers of 16 in a row, and outscored the Bobcats by 18 to lead 33-15 after the first quarter.  Brook Lopez and Deron Williams came out with higher energy and focus and started the Nets rolling and they never looked back.

Lopez ended with 26 points, 11 rebounds, 3 blocks with two assists and moved the ball well while going to the basket and not shooting long jumpshots. Williams looked more aggressive from the start and the ball was moving while he looked to have his giddy up back and ended with 19 points on 7-14 shooting.

This was a much needed win for a desperate team that needs to duplicate the victory tomorrow night when they host the Cleveland Cavaliers at Barclays Center.
