[box]Tomorrow night arguably the greatest Net of All-Time, Jason Kidd, is getting his jersey retired by the NJ/Brooklyn organization that he led to heights never achieved before and he wishes it was over before it even happened.

Kidd was never a selfish player that looked for personal accolades so all of this attention is a bit unsettling to him to take and he has let it be known.

He made sure that this ceremony would take place in the preseason so it wouldn’t take away from his team in the regular season.[/box]
