The Brooklyn Nets lost to the Golden State Warriors by a score of 93-86  in Golden State.

The game was not good early for the Nets as they got down 13-2 and looked lethargic shooting jump shots.  They came right back with  a 10-3 run to get back into the game by getting ball inside to only be down 28-23 after one.

Brooklyn grabbed their first lead of the game when Deron Williams hit a shot to give the Nets 46-44 with 1:44 left in first half.  The Nets were saved by the free throw line in the first half hitting 18-21 from line and were surprisingly only down 49-46 at half.

The Nets defensive rotations were off all night as they allowed at least 10 uncontested runs down the middle of the paint for dunks and layins.

The game was lost in the final two minutes of play after the Nets tied the game at 86 and looked to be ready to steal the game.

Joe Johnson committed two bad turnover sin the final poissessions that led to Steph Curry hitting a three off the glass with 37.2 seconds left that put the Nets down 91-86.

Brooklyn went scoreless for last 1:36 of regulation and lost 93-86 on the road.

Once again the Nets were hammered on the boards 50-39 and lost 52-38  in points in the paint while going 2-for-21 from 3-point range.

“We was really worried about stopping Curry. Our focus was him, and Jermaine, he just kept slipping out, kept on getting wide-open dunks. We wanted somebody else to beat us. We didn’t want it to be Curry or Klay, and Jermaine just stepped up” said Andray Blatche.
