The Brooklyn Nets beat the Milwaukee Bucks by a score of 104-93 in Brooklyn.

The Nets were looking to beat the struggling Bucks for the fourth straight time and get themselves a much needed win in Brooklyn Friday night and avoid a season-high tying five-game losing streak.

Brooklyn used a big first quarter (31-18) to gain some confidence and get into somewhat of a groove with a new member of the starting lineup as Shaun Livingston began the game alongside Deron Williams in the backcourt.

In a perfect microcosm of the Nets season they connected on their first six 3-pointers and then missed their next eight.

Livingston had his best game as a Nets with 20 points, five rebounds and six assists with the spot start as Brooklyn went with the smaller lineup against the Bucks.

Jason Terry (12 points) hit a few big shots late in the third quarter to help the Nets to a 16-point lead heading into the fourth quarter where they held on to get the much needed win.

Mirza Teletovic continues to gain more confidence with his increased playing time and has had double-figure scoring games in five of his last seven games total.  He scored a career-high 19 points on 7-for-13 shooting and also grabbed six rebounds.
