Tyshawn Taylor May Have Broken NBA Rules

Updated: June 26, 2013

More news for the Brooklyn Nets hit the wire this morning and it wasn’t about the NBA Draft or the trade rumors regarding MarShon Brooks or Kevin Garnett.

This time it was about the Nets backup point guard Tyshawn Taylor and what he may have done to break and NBA rule.

It seems Taylor was seen playing in a “organized street summer league game” at  the Dyckman Park court Monday night which is against NBA rules.

Taylor would not be the first player that the NBA fined for such an infraction as Lance Stephenson and Kemba Walker also were fined for doing the same thing.

Brooklyn Nets backup point guard Tyshawn Taylor played at Dyckman Park court on Monday and by doing that he broke an NBA rule. According to Adry Torres of ESPNDeportes.com, NBA players are not allowed to participate in organized street summer leagues prior to July 1.

“I didn’t know that. That’s my story, I’m sticking to it,” Taylor said.

Taylor will probably be fined by the league office for the infraction.[/quote_simple]
