The Seven NBA Tax Teams And Where They Stand

Updated: July 28, 2013

The NBA new tax ramifications to teams in the new collective bargaining agreement could be franchise changing for most teams but not the Brooklyn Nets.

Most NBA pundits thought that Brooklyn would not add a 15th man to their currently stacked roster because it would cost them almost $4 million in tax money for a veteran minimum player.

Once again they were proved wrong.

The Nets completed a two-year minimum deal for two million per season with shooting guard Alan Anderson which will add an additional $4 million to their tax bill next July.

No problem at all as the Nets, along with ownership, are going “ALL IN” to give Brooklyn the best players to compete for the championship.

Enjoy it Nets fans as no other NBA team is putting their money where their mouth is like Mikhail Prokhorov.
