REPORT: Jason Collins will be a Brooklyn Net today
[box]
It looks as if today will be the day in Los Angeles where the first openly gay player will suit up to play in one of the four major sports with Jason Collins reportedly signing a 10-day contract with the Brooklyn Nets.
The Nets were rejected earlier today by Glen “Big Baby” Davis, who is joining the Clippers, and have proceeded onto Plan B which is to sign Collins as a backup to Kevin Garnett.
The news broke minutes ago and opinions are flying and it is all over the web, television, talk radio and social media so hang on tight Nets fans because this is only the beginning of the media frenzy that is on its way.
