The starting lineup will once again be different with Tyshawn Taylor playing alongside Joe Johnson in the backcourt with Alan Anderson, Kevin Garnett up front and the man in the middle Brook Lopez.

[quote_box]Injury News: The Nets have been hit again with another big injury. Shocker.

Now Paul Pierce is out 2-to-4 weeks with a broken hand.  Also, Andrei Kirilenko (back spasms) and Jason Terry (knee) will be out at least another week.  Deron Williams (ankle) is out for this game and doubtful for Thursday against the Knicks.

Joe Johnson on Pierce injury – “It seems like when one guy comes back, somebody else goes down. We have to find a way to get through it until those guys get back.”[/quote_box]

The Nets are coming off a solid road win in Memphis but have lost four in a row at home to match their longest skid at Barclays Center.

The Nuggets starting lineup will be Ty Lawson and Randy Foye in the backcourt with Wilson Chandler,  Kenneth Faried and J.J.Hickson playing in the frontcourt.

Nuggets have won six in a row and are playing with a ton of pace so the Nets need to come out strong early, buckle down on defense, and not let the high-speed Nuggets run them into a deep hole that they can’t recover from.

Nate Robinson has caught fire of late and is propelling the Nuggets bench scoring 15.3 points per game after averaging only 6.9 over the first 10 games of the season.

Denver is shooting 48.3 percent during this six game winning streak and feeling confident.

[quote_simple][box]Game Notes:

The Nets’ are trying to win their first back-to-back victories of the season.

Brooklyn is the NBA’s last team to play two straight home games this season.

Nets have lost a total of 37 games due to injury split among top eight players.

Happy to be HOME

The Nets can breathe a little sigh of relief, outside of the massive injury list, with a 2-2 week and a road win in Memphis bringing them home on a good note.

More importantly the Nets are the only team in the NBA that has yet to have back-to-back games at home this season.

They have play 11 out of the first 17 games on the road and now will play 13 of the next 19 games at home in the Barclays Center so getting on a winning streak is a must.
