[quote_simple]NETS STARTERS
The starting lineup will be  Deron Williams playing alongside Shaun Livingston in the backcourt with Joe Johnson, Paul Pierce up front and the man in the middle Kevin Garnett.

The Nets are looking for their second win in as many games on this six-game circus road trip out west with a victory at Golden State tonight following their 105-99 win at Utah Wednesday night.

Brooklyn tighten up their defense in the second half against Utah after giving up 56 points in the first half.   Johnson led the Nets with 27 points and Andray Blatche had 25 lift the Nets to victory.

Brooklyn ended a three-game road skid wit the win in Utah and look to sweep the Warriors tonight after beating them in Brooklyn 102-98 on Jan 8th.

[box]Injury News:

Marcus Thornton will be a game-time decision with food poisoning although Coach Kidd said he would play if healthy.

WARRIORS  STARTERS

The Warriors starting lineup will be Steph Curry and Klay Thompson in the backcourt with Andre Iguodala, David Lee and  Jermaine Oneal playing in the frontcourt.

The Warriors are looking for their third straight victory after the All-Star break and will have to do it without Andrew Bogut who is very unlikely to play with an inflamed shoulder.

The Warriors were denied a franchise-record 11th straight victory when the Nets beat them on Jan 8th in Brooklyn so they should be looking for some revenge.

There will be a new guy playing for the Warriors in Steve Blake, who was acquired from the Lakers Thursday, who is averaging 9.3 points and 7.4 assists on the season and should solidify the backup point guard for Golden State.

Game Notes:

The Nets have dropped seven of the last eight in Golden State.

Brooklyn is looking to add to their record against Western Conference opponents to an NBA-best 7-1 since Jan. 1.

The Nets will sweep the season series against the Warriors for the second time in three seasons with a win tonight.

[quote_simple]WHAT TO LOOK FOR

Repeat performance

Brooklyn will have to play a better game than they did in Utah to get past this Golden State team who is starting to put it together coming out of the break.

The defense that was played in the second half needs to come right from the start tonight or else the Oracle will be rocking with the Splash Brothers raining threes.

If the Nets bench can do what they did to the Warriors in Brooklyn where they outscored Golden State’s reserves 36-17 they may be able to sneak out of Golden State with another road win.
