[quote_simple]NETS STARTERS

The starting lineup will be Deron Williams playing alongside Joe Johnson in the backcourt with Paul Pierce, Kevin Garnett and the man in the middle Brook Lopez up front.

The Nets have now lost all four road games they have played this season and the intensity level is becoming a real problem and needs to be corrected now.

Brooklyn has lost three straight overall and looked miserable in the process.  Something has to change and it needs to happen tonight for the Nets to have a chance of gaining any type of confidence in this early season.

[box]“For us right now, this is desperation,’ said Jason Terry. ‘Everyone that steps on the floor (Friday against the Suns) should feel desperation and come out and play with a sense of urgency. If you don’t you’ll be looking at another loss. It’s what it is.[/box]

[box]Game Notes:

The Nets are 2-0 this season in games in which they’ve outscored their opponent in the third quarter, but 0-5 in games in which they’ve been outscored in the third quarter.

Brooklyn swept the season series last year with Phoenix (2-0).

The Nets have shot 40.8 percent on the road while going 0-4.

[quote_simple]WHAT TO LOOK FOR

Sense of urgency

The Nets thought going out West would help team unity and bring them together until they hit the hardwood on Wednesday and got run off the court from the opening tip.

The Nets are way too deep of a team to continue to struggle like this so maybe tonight the urgency level should hit the a season high and hopefully they will come out and play with the same intensity that they do in practice as per Andray Blatche.

The panic level in Brooklyn is around 8.0 right now so a big win in Phoenix could do wonders for this struggling team.

SUNS STARTERS

The Suns starting lineup will be Eric Bledsoe and Goran Dragic in the backcourt with PJ Tucker, Channing Fyre and Miles Plumlee playing in the frontcourt.

Bledsoe is averaging 21.1 points and 7.1 assists on 51.4 percent shooting and is fitting in quite well with his new team.

Markieff Morris is the reigning West player of the week while averaging 24.7 in the previous three games before he threw in a clunker last game with only eight points.

Plumlee will be facing his brother Mason Plumlee tonight for the first time in their NBA careers.

[box]”We’re a young team. This is a very good team,” Hornacek said. “They’ve been playing extremely well and for us to have a couple missed tips at the buzzer to win it, our guys are battling, and that’s what we hope for at the start of the season, getting those chances.”
