[quote_simple]NETS STARTERS
The starting lineup will be Deron Williams playing alongside Joe Johnson in the backcourt with Alan Anderson, Kevin Garnett up front and the man in the middle Brook Lopez.

The Nets should have a big advantage tonight with Lopez back in the lineup and the frontcourt should be able to have its way with the Sixers.

The Sixers have lost 18 of their last 22 games and are playing without Michael Carter Williams so the Nets need should be very confident coming in.

Paul Pierce will continue to come off the bench for a third straight game as the experiment seems to be working for Jason Kidd. Pierce is handling the second unit quite well and it is taking pressure off the first team in the process.

[box]Injury News: Lopez probable (ankle)

Andrei Kirilenko (back spasms) and Jason Terry (knee) will be out again.

Terry looks to be a bit closer to game action and has appeared at practice this week while AK47 did some light shooting yesterday at practice.[/box]

SIXERS STARTERS

The 76ers starting lineup will be Hollis Thompson and Tony Wroten in the backcourt with Evan Turner, Thaddeous Young and Spencer Hawes playing in the frontcourt.

The Sixers have lost a season-high six straight and 10 of their past 11 games coming into Brooklyn.

Philadelphia ranks among the league leaders with 49.9 points in the paint per game.

The 76ers are 1-9 without the rookie MCW, who remains sidelined due to a skin infection on his right knee.

[quote_simple][box]Game Notes:

The Nets record to 3-1 in the Atlantic Division right now.

Nets are looking for their third straight victory at Barclays Center.

The Nets won three of their four matchups with the 76ers last season

[box]WHAT TO LOOK FOR

Take care of business

The Nets have an opportunity here to creep up the standings and try to get back to .500 with three winnable games this week at home.

They take on the struggling 76ers twice in a home-and-home with the Washington Wizards in between on Wednesday.  This has to be three wins.

For the Nets 11-15 looks a lot better than 8-15 and with those wins it will build confidence to end the year on an high note and a better record.
