Detroit Pistons (1-1) Brooklyn Nets (1-0)

Barclays Center 7:30

TV: NONE – RADIO: NONE

The starting lineup for preseason Game 2 will be the same with Shaun Livingston replacing Deron Williams at the point to play alongside Joe Johnson, Paul Pierce, Kevin Garnett and center Brook Lopez.

The starters looked cohesive and played well together in their limited time on the court against the Wizards but the bench was the story of the game.

The second unit played better than expected with all the new faces they have put together. Andrei Kirilenko showed all of his skills while filling up the stat sheet and Andray Blatche and Alan Anderson played quality minutes.  Mirza Teletovic and Tyshawn Taylor still are trying to prove themselves to the new coaching staff so tonight will be another audition for playing time.

The Pistons added lightning fast point guard Brandon Jennings and free-agent forward Josh Smith to their now revamped roster. They will join and already young and talented Greg Monroe and Andre Drummond, who form a formidable frontline for up-and-coming Detroit team that should open eyes this season.
