[quote_simple]NETS STARTERS

The starting lineup gets one piece back and loses another. They will roll with Tyshawn Taylor playing alongside Joe Johnson in the backcourt with Alan Anderson, Kevin Garnett up front and the man in the middle Brook Lopez.

Livingston’s game has dissipated along with most of the Nets and in his last six games his shooting percentage is 22.2 percent and while averaging 3.7 assists in 25 minutes per game.

Pierce is lost right now and no one knows what is going on with him because in his last 11 games he has shot 31.1 percent and hit 23.8 percent from 3-point range to go with horrible late game turnovers. Sitting a game may help more than people know.

Good News:

After tonight’s game in Memphis, the Nets 11th on the road in 17 games, they will play 13 of next 19 at home in the hopes of getting DWill back and getting on track with some wins.

GRIZZLIES STARTERS

The Grizzlies starting lineup will be Mike Conley and Tony Allen in the backcourt with Tayshaun Prince,Zach Randolph and Kosta Koufos playing in the frontcourt.

The Grizzlies are trying to avoid losing four straight at home for the first time in almost four years and have a better record (5-3) on the road.

The Grizzlies just swept their four game California trip and come home to tip off a season‐high six‐game home stand.

[quote_simple][box]Game Notes:

Nets remain last in defensive efficiency, giving up a staggering 106.1 points per 100 possessions

Memphis is the only Western Conference team with a better road record.

Memphis has lost three‐in‐a‐row at home.

Nets have now lost 7-out of-8 games overall.

[box]WHAT TO LOOK FOR

Something has to change……

Jason Kidd benched his starting lineup for the entire second half with Livingston, Johnson, Pierce and Blatche nit seeing any game action after halftime.

Last night they gave zero effort in the dismal first half that saw them go down 66-40 at halftime after just watching themselves get down by 27 in the first half of the previous game against the Lakers.

One word I never had to use when watching a team that Kidd was on was “EFFORT” but it seems that this All-Star laden roster just thinks they can walk out onto an NBA court and drop their reputation down and it will get them some wins………NOT.

Joe Johnson YES pic

Effort is needed to dominate and win basketball games and without it teams have nothing.

This is lunacy and something has to change or this entire season and all of the expectations will be for absolutely nothing.
