[quote_simple]NETS STARTERS

The starting lineup will be different again with Shaun Livingston playing alongside Joe Johnson in the backcourt with Paul Pierce, Kevin Garnett and the man in the middle  Reggie Evans up front.

Pierce will be a game-time decision once again and looks as if he will play.

Jason Terry is also a gametime decision with a sore knee and has told everyone that he will play tonight.

The injuries are really hurting Brooklyn as they cannot gain any type of consistency with the changing of lineups every day.

The Bobcats starting lineup will be Kemba Walker and Gerald Henderson in the backcourt with Michael Kidd-Gilchrist, Josh McRoberts and Bismack Byombo playing in the frontcourt.

The Bobcats will be without Al Jefferson which will hurt them inside but their youth and quickness will surely hurt the injured Nets.

Charlotte is struggling to score all season and rank last in the NBA with 88 points per game so scoring will be on their mind right from the start.

[quote_simple][box]Game Notes:

The Bobcats and Nets meet for the first of four regular-season contests tonight.

The Nets swept the Bobcats last season and have won seven straight.

The Bobcats this season have held their opponent under 100 points in eight of their 11 games.

Nets need a W

Once again the Nets depth will be tested without Brook Lopez and Andrei Kirilenko again.  This team needs a spark and a win against the Bobcats could be just the right medicine for this team.

Andray Blatche and Alan Anderson will be called upon once again to play big minutes for this injured Nets team so hopefully they can answer the bell.

It seems that Anderson has taken the spot in the rotation from Terry for the time being with his good play and Terry’s injured knee.

Andrei Kirilenko – OUT (back spasms)

Deron Williams – GTD (sprained left ankle)

Brook Lopez – OUT (sprained ankle)

Al Jefferson – questionable (bone bruise right ankle)

Brendan Haywood  – OUT (stress fracture left foot)
