The starting lineup will almost be whole again with Deron Williams playing alongside Joe Johnson in the backcourt with Alan Anderson, Kevin Garnett up front and the man in the middle Brook Lopez.

The Nets are coming off a much needed win in Milwaukee when they fed their big man all night and Lopez responded with a season-high 32 points in a 90-82 win.

Deron Williams (ankle) is going to suit up tonight against the Celtics after missing nine straight games.

Paul Pierce is listed as doubtful with a broken hand although he has told the media he will try and start as well.

[quote_simple][box]Game Notes:

Nets trying to snap the’ six-game losing streak at Barclays Center (the longest losing streak the Nets have had at home since they moved to Brooklyn).

The last time Kevin Garnett faced off against the Celtics (prior to tonight’s game) was 3/4/07 as a member of the Minnesota Timberwolves.

Through 20 games this season, the Nets have lost a total of 49 games due to injury split among six players.

The game against Boston is the first of seven games (of the Nets’ next nine games) at Barclays Center.

[box]WHAT TO LOOK FOR

Put the feelings aside and win the damn gameDeron Williams YES pic

The Nets have to put all of their feelings aside with the reunion of Garnett and Pierce playing their old team for the first time.

The ex-Celtics will have to find a way to manage their emotions and lead this Brooklyn team to a win that will snap a six-game losing streak at Barclays Center.

A few ex-Nets will return to Brooklyn for the first time in Kris Humphries, MarShon Brooks, Gerald Wallace and Keith Bogans (not playing).

Hopefully the weirdness of these players playing their old team will wear off right after tip off and we can watch the Nets get into a rhythm with their real starting lineup on the floor tonight and grit a division win.
