[quote_simple]NETS STARTERS
The starting lineup will be Deron Williams playing alongside Joe Johnson in the backcourt with Alan Anderson,  Mirza Teletovic up front and the man in the middle Kevin Garnett.

The Nets laid another egg on Christmas Day to embarrass their fans further with a 95-78 loss to the shorthanded Chicago Bulls.

Brooklyn is in dire need of a win at home and the Bucks, having the worst record in the NBA, could be just the medicine that the Nets need.

The Nets have beaten the Bucks once this season already and hope to avoid a fifth straight loss.  the rebounding and defense has been putrid of late so if Brooklyn wants to grab a win they must defend and clean up the glass tonight.

[box]Injury News:

Brook Lopez is out for the year. (ankle)

Andrei Kirilenko (back spasms) was thought to be returning tonight but news has come out that he will not play.[/box]

BUCKS STARTERS

The Bucks starting lineup will be Brandon Knight and Giannis Antetokounmpo in the backcourt with Khris Middleton, Caron Butler and Ekpe Udoh playing in the frontcourt.

Losers in six of seven, the Bucks are coming off Monday’s 111-110 overtime defeat at Charlotte.

The Bucks had taken 13 straight from the Nets before losing the last three matchups by an average of 4.3 points. Milwaukee fell 90-82 on Dec. 7, as Lopez scored 32 points on 11-of-13 shooting.

The Nets re looking for their fourth straight victory over the Bucks

If  Brooklyn wins it would mark the first time this season the Nets have defeated a team twice.

The Nets posted their best defensive performance of the season in their 90-82 victory at Milwaukee 12/7.

[box]WHAT TO LOOK FOR

Give some damn effort

“It’s something we need to get back. It seems like once one thing goes wrong, we kind of hang our head and it just piles on” said Deron Williams.

Tell me how an NBA team can constantly talk about “lack of energy and effort” and no one be held accountable for that?

That is the one thing that should never be questioned from a professional athlete in any sport but yet that is all we hear from these Nets. The coach is not responsible for energy or effort but somehow people want to blame Jason Kidd for this travesty of a team.

Ridiculous.  Give some damn effort.
