The starting lineup for Preseason Game 4 in Brooklyn tonight will be Shaun Livingston playing alongside Joe Johnson in thebackcourt with Paul Pierce, Andray Blatche and center Brook Lopez up front.

Kevin Garnett will get the night off to rest while Andrei Kirilenko has back spasms and will not play again along with Deron Williams.

[box]ESPN New York reports that Garnett is less than happy with the decision of his coach to sit tonight.

“It wasn’t my decision. So that’s where I’m going to leave that, I am trying to be as positive as I can be,” he said. “This is not up to me, and I’m being positive. I’m trying to listen and go with the plan that was laid out for me, and being positive with that, so I’m trusting (Nets coach) Jason (Kidd) and what he has in store for myself and I’m going to embrace it.”[/box]

WHAT TO LOOK FOR

Pierce will be playing his old team for the first time ever tonight in Brooklyn. He has already said that he does not plan to play for Brooklyn in their preseason finale in Boston.  He wants to wait until the regular season to make his return to Boston on January 26th.

BOSTON STARTERS

The new Celtics team will be starting rookie Avery Bradley and Jordan Crawford in the backcourt with Kris Humphries, Jeff Green and Kelly Olynyk in the frontcourt.

The Celtics will be bringing some some familiar faces with them in  Gerald Wallace, MarShon Brooks, Humphries, and Keith Bogans as they make their Brooklyn return.

[box]Brooks said, “Obviously I’m looking forward to playing at the Barclays Center because they traded me.”[/box][/quote_simple]
