A routine 3-point shot with 3:10 remaining in the second quarter of last night’s game against the Atlanta Hawks put Paul Pierce in the history book as he became the 18th player in NBA history to score at least 25,000 career points.

The other active players to accomplish this milestone are Kobe Bryant, Kevin Garnett, and Dirk Nowitzki and each of them are currently ahead of Pierce on the list of all-time scoring leaders.

Congratulations to “The Truth” on another great moment in his stellar career and here’s to hoping that he can summon up that magic in this years NBA Playoffs for the Brooklyn Nets.
