Nets/Celtics Deal Will Wait Until July 12th To Be Official
The blockbuster trade involving the Boston Celtics and the Brooklyn Nets cannot be officially completed and announced by both teams until July 12 because of the inclusion of Kris Joseph in the deal.
Joseph, who signed with the Nets back on April 12 after a stint in the D-League, cannot be traded to another team until three months after the date the contract was signed due to NBA rules.
