Nets Mason Plumlee to train with US Select Team in Vegas
Things just keep getting better for Brooklyn Nets big man Mason Plumlee after his rookie season. After being selected to the First Team All Rookie earlier he has now been selected to train with the US Basketball Team Select along with his brother Miles Plumlee.
Plumlee is a super athletic big who has a motor that never stops and is an alley-oop waiting to happen at anytime.
Practicing with the US Basketball Select now could be a precursor to Plumlee eventually getting himself into the pool for the national team.
The FIBA World Cup will be held on Aug. 30 – Sept. 14 in Spain.
Sources: More invitees to USA Basketball training camp to work against national team: Brooklyn's Mason Plumlee and Phoenix's Miles Plumlee.
