SOURCES: After completion of the Marcus Thornton deal it looks like the Nets are willing to pay the big luxury tax hit for the Lakers Jordan Hill.

The Nets would pay $17M in luxury tax for Hill and the total payroll and tax would be a crazy $210M.

The next trade rumor of the day comes from Yahoo Sports Adrian Wojnarowski  and he is reporting that the Nets and the Lakers have talked about Jordan Hill using the DPE they got for the Brook Lopez injury of $5.25M.

The need for an athletic big to take some of the minutes from Kevin Garnett is always on Billy King’s mind.

The NBA Trade Deadline is Thursday at 3pm.
