Nets Kevin Garnett out another 3 games – re-evaluated Saturday

More bad news came for the Brooklyn Nets tonight as Jason Kidd told the media that Kevin Garnett will miss tonight’s game at home against the Suns and will in turn miss the two other games this week to be evaluated on Saturday.
Garnett has already missed eight games with the current back spasms that he has been dealing with although the Nets are 6-2 in those games.
“We’re going to re-evaluate KG on Saturday, so he’ll be out through the whole week and we’ll take a look at him on Saturday,” Nets coach Jason Kidd said pregame tonight.
Rookie Mason Plumlee will continue to start in his stead and done a more than adequate job although Garnetts leadership was missed badly in Saturday nights loss to Washington.
The older you get the longer it takes to get over back spasms and we saw this earlier in the season when Andrei Kirilenko missed a whopping 25 games with the injury.

Took KG 2 months to find rhythm – and that was after he called this most frustrating season of his career. Now he’s out at least 11 straight
