The Nets are coming home to a three-game home stand and hope to continue their winning ways looking for their fifth straight win tonight against the visiting Phoenix Suns. The Suns have lost 12 straight road games so the Nets need to come out focused to continue this streak.

The Nets are now only three games back of the Atlantic Division leading Knicks and might be able to gain another game tonight when the Knicks play the Bulls.

PJ Carlesimo is now 6-1 as Nets coach and his players are starting to get a feel for him and what he brings. The leader of the Nets sure like the direction under the new coach.

“I think that’s what’s great about it. We lost a head coach, but then we gained another one,” Deron Williams said. “He’s coached a lot of teams in this league as a head coach. Like I said, he’s doing a great job.”

Matchup of the Game: Reggie Evans vs Luis Scola

Reggie Evans grabbed a career-high 23 rebounds when the Nets beat up the Sixers 50-32 on the glass to a 109-89 victory. Evans has been on a roll lately and grabbing everything he possibly can while even thinking a bit more offensively and finishing at the rim. Luis Scola is a dominant power forward with an array of post moves and an uncanny and below the rim game. Scola can be a force and has always given the Nets problems so Evans has his work cut out tonight.
