ESPN NBA RANKINGS: Deron Williams Ranked 20

The annual ESPN NBA Player Rankings have the Nets point guard, Deron Williams, ranked as the 20th best player in the NBA today.

I understand why they have D-Will ranked 10 spots lower this year because he has been hobbled by injuries since all the trade to New Jersey happened.

Previous seasons with the wrist issues it was understandable as it was the waning years in New Jersey but last season was the worst injury plagued season for D-Will as he dealt with the chronic ankle injuries which can kind of hinder an explosive point guard.

If he stays healthy and has a solid season under new head coach Jason Kidd, he will be back in the top 10 next year once again.
