Felton Speaks About Pierce's Knicks Hatred

The infamous New York Knicks point guard by default, Raymond “Chubb Chubb” Felton, was at St. John’s University at a clinic for Big Brothers Big Sisters of New York City yesterday had a few things to say about the newest Brooklyn Nets player Paul Pierce’s recent comments.

Pierce told ESPN NewYork 98.7 FM’s “The Michael Kay Show last week that his hatred for the Knicks has increased with his move to Brooklyn.

“Everybody knows how much I disliked the Knicks when I was with the Celtics, but I think it’s grown to another level,” Pierce said. “I think it’s time for the Nets to start running this city.”Raymond Felton dribbling a cupcake

Felton shot back at Pierce, “He’s just trying to talk, talk, talk, to fuel the rivalry, which is good. I love it, I think it’s good for us, it’s good for the whole state, it’s good. So, whatever — I love it. “I don’t really pay no attention to what Paul is saying,” added Felton,via Ian Begley of ESPN New York. “I hear about it, but I don’t pay it no attention. It’s all fun and games to me.”

I notoriously overweight point guard doesn’t seem to think the Knicks have anything to worry about in the future with the Nets.

“They will never take over the city. Because we’ve got ‘New York’ on our chest,” Felton said Sunday. “They’ve got ‘Brooklyn’ on their chest, and we’ve got ‘New York.’ They’ll never take over the city.”

Felton is fatI think that if anyone on the Knicks should have something to say about Pierce’s comments the last person would be the weak link on the team. The point guard position is the most glaring weakness for the Knicks and there doesn’t seem to be a solution in sight with Felton running the show.

Felton was basically run out of Portland for NEVER getting in shape and turning the ball over more than a bakery.
