Brooklyn Nets To Hold Training Camp At Duke
Brooklyn Nets general manager Billy King announced today that the team will hold training camp at Duke University this year from October 1st through October 5th.
The Nets first round pick Mason Plumlee this year is a former Blue Devil as well as King himself back in the day.
The relationship that King has with head coach Mike Krzyzewski is very strong and King frequently seeks out Coach K’s advice before making moves professionally and personally.
In a statement, King said that Duke “will offer a unique opportunity for our players to bond & focus solely on basketball.”

Going away makes a ton of sense for the Nets. Allows them to escape some of the media glare and let’s a new team have some time to bond.
