The Brooklyn Nets look to be almost done putting together a qualified staff to help Jason Kidd flourish in his new role as head coach of the Nets.

News has come out that another member of the coaching staff has been added in the name of ex-Denver Nuggets assistant John Welch.  Welch was an important assistant to head coach George Karl in Denver for the past eight seasons.

In another move by the organization on Monday, Brooklyn announced the promotion of  Frank Zanin to assistant general manager.  Zanin spent last season as the team’s director of player procurement and the previous two seasons as the Nets pro personnel scout.

Zanin will work closely with Billy King and Bobby Marks as per King.

One other move that the Nets made was hiring Scott Sereday to statistical analyst where he was used as a consultant prior.  Sereday will bring more analytics to the team which will be to the liking of assistant coach Lawrence Frank.
