Brook Lopez has surgery on right foot. Out until August
The Brooklyn Nets announced that All-Star center Brook Lopez had the screw in his surgically repaired right foot replaced.
The issue was discovered in a postseason physical and will be the third time Lopez will have surgery on the same foot in less than two years.The All-Star center is said to be able to resume basketball activities in August sometime.
This news will also put to bed the idea of Lopez playing for USA Basketball.
Nets General Manager Billy King is supposed to meet the media today and will likely give more information on the issue.
