Report: Nets and Cavaliers revisiting Jarrett Jack for Marcus Thornton trade scenarios
ESPN is reporting that a previously discussed deal that would send the Brooklyn Nets guard Marcus Thornton to the Cleveland Cavaliers for point guard Jarrett Jack is being revisited again by both teams.
This trade was brought up previous to the draft and should be on top of Billy King list as the Nets lost Shaun Livingston to the Golden State Warriors and need a veteran backup to Deron Williams who is oft-injured at best.
Thornton has one year left on his contract opposed to Jack who has two fully guaranteed years left on his deal ($12M) with Cleveland.
This is one trade that King HAS to make happen to solidify the Nets backcourt and add a quality point guard that is proven to show up in big games and can run a team if something once again happens to DWill.
