NETS STARTERS
The starting lineup will be  Deron Williams playing alongside  Shaun Livingston in the backcourt with  Joe Johnson and Paul Pierce up front and the man in the middle Mason Plumlee.

The Nets rallied from a 13-point third quarter deficit to force overtime and take an impressive win from the Mavericks in Dallas.  The Nets have swept the Mavericks for the first time since the 99-2000 season.

Brooklyn is looking to win its fifth game in a row and do the same to the Pelicans tonight.  The Nets beat the Pelicans 93-81 at home Feb. 9 in their other matchup this season.

Kevin Garnett will miss a 13th straight game due to back spasms.

PELICANS  STARTERS

The Pelicans starting lineup will be Brian Roberts and Eric Gordon in the backcourt with Tyreke Evans, Anthony Davis and  Greg Stiemsma playing in the frontcourt.

Davis had 24 points and nine rebounds for the Pelicans in the first matchup with Brooklyn and has  averaged 32.3 points on 58.0 percent shooting and 13.5 rebounds in the recent 6-3 stretch.

The Pelicans are on the verge of being eliminated from the playoffs and currently trail eighth-place Dallas by 12 games in the West with 13 to play.

[quote_simple]WHAT TO LOOK FOR

Use the momentum

The Nets are feeling good today and riding some positive momentum from their overtime road win in Dallas and need to keep that feeling going.

Brooklyn will try to add to that momentum with their third five-game win streak of the season.

The team-first mentality is really permeating throughout the team with an 11-2 record so far in March and if they can win again tonight they might just be able to catch Toronto for the Atlantic division.

Remember –
“No one cares who scores,” Kidd says. “It’s all about Brooklyn.”
