NETS STARTERS
The starting lineup will be  Deron Williams playing alongside  Shaun Livingston in the backcourt with  Joe Johnson and Paul Pierce up front and the man in the middle Mason Plumlee.

Brooklyn was shocked by the lowly Celtics 91-84 on Friday night which put a halt on their four-game winning streak and put a damper on a good run.

The Nets looked doomed from the opening tip as Rajon Rondo was hitting threes (yes Rondo) and they fell behind by 12 points at halftime and never really put a run together to grab the game.

The game tonight is a game that Brooklyn has to win to get the smell of that Boston loss off of them so focus is needed right from the beginning.

Kevin Garnett will miss a fifth straight game due to back spasms.

KINGS STARTERS

The Kings starting lineup will be Isaiah Thomas and Ben McLemore in the backcourt with Rudy Gay , Derrick Williams and  DeMarcus Cousins playing in the frontcourt.

The Kings, who are 9-21 on the road, beat Milwaukee 116-102 in the opener of a seven-game trip Wednesday before falling 99-87 at Toronto on Friday.

Sacramento shot 41.7 percent from the field and 5-for-19 from 3-point range in the Toronto loss and big man Cousins dropped 24 points in the loss.

Game Notes:

The Nets are looking to split the season series with the Kings with a win.

Sacramento has dropped four straight on the road in the series with Brooklyn.

The Kings look for their first season sweep of this series since 2007-08.

[quote_simple]WHAT TO LOOK FOR

Playing your old squad

Marcus Thornton has been quite the surprise for Brooklyn since he was traded from the Kings for Jason Terry and Reggie Evans on Feb. 19.

The feeling that players get when they play their former teams doesn’t seem to compare to their games so if Thornton can keep his emotions in check he may well gets some time to show his old team what they gave up.

Reggie Evans will also be coming back home to Brooklyn where he will surely get a huge ovation as he was always a crowd favorite despite is limitations on the court.
