Nets look to correct their DEFENSE today against a a mediocre team in the Bucks. The Nets have lost 3 straight games and 2 straight at Barclays and that can’t happen.

“Our problem is defense,” coach Avery Johnson said. “We are not the same team defensively. We have to get back and figure it out. We have to get our team out of this defensive funk.”

The Nets have had big leads in all these games only to see than slip away with bad defense and bad shot selection.  The will have to watch Leading scorers Monta Ellis and Brandon Jennings so they don’t go off and put the Nets away.

“We’ve had similar games like this all season where we get out to a lead and really can’t hang on to it,” said Deron Williams.  “The thing more disappointing than the loss is the way we lost,” Johnson said. “Just energy plays, just effort. We should never come home or lay an egg or not give it our all. Here in Brooklyn, man, it’s unacceptable. It’s not fair to our fans or our coaching staff.”

They need this win so they better get it together today and get a W.
