Tornike “Toko” Shengelia did not have the success in the Orlando Summer League that he had hoped and now it turns out that he will undergo surgery Wednesday July 31st to repair damage to the meniscus in his left knee.

Shengelia was said to have a small issue at the end of the regular season with soreness and the work in the summer league must have aggravated it so Brooklyn is going to have it corrected now.

This news will most certainly keep him from playing at Euro-2013.
