Deron Williams did what he always does in big games and that is come up HUGE with 16pts, 14ast and 6rebs. His partners in crime tonight on offense would be the man who wears Jackie Robinson’s number 42, Jerry “Turn the clock back” Stackhouse dropping 14pts and going 4-of-5 from three point range.

Brook Lopez had 22pts, 11rebs and five blocks to go with the tenacity and unrelenting rebounding of Reggie Evans who had 14rebs in 17 total minutes to dominate the Knicks late in the game and finish the Knicks in OT.

What a game and it felt like a playoff game from the beginning and the Nets are finding themselves late in games and growing up right before our eyes.  This could be special as the season goes on once this team has more time to play together.

Special “Thank You” to GM Billy King for bucking the trend and “building a team” rather than follow the other teams who sign one superstar after another that cant play together as a team.
