Nets 107 – Jazz 116

Deron Williams was booed at every touch of the ball.  Game’s off to an exciting start with 9 lead changes. Jazz lead Nets 12-11, early first.   Ridiculous FG% early in this game.  Jazz are shooting lights out at 77% (7-9) and Nets are shooting lights out at 70% (7-10). Nets lead 19-18.  Brook Lopez with 9 points and Williams with 8 points and three assists after one with Nets losing 33-28.

Nets have 8 horrendous turnovers with 10 minutes left in second.  Can’t win like that. Second unit in game with Andray Blatche providing offense and good post up defense with 3 blocks.  Nets down 39-38 as Kris Humphries dunks on a feed from Blatche.  CJ Watson and the Bench Mob doing work and grabbed the lead 42-41.  Both teams shooting over 50 percent. Nets have eight turnovers.  Reggie Evans has 11 rebounds.  Nets lead 54-52 after a sloppy first half from both teams.

High FG% in this game so far. Nets are shooting well at 53% (25-47) and Jazz are shooting well at 53% (26-49). Nets lead 63-60, early third.  Randy Foye hit three straight 3-pointers to break the game open and give Utah 74-65 game with five to play in third. Same old story for the Nets in the third quarter. They lay an egg in third and lose winnable game. Nets lose third as usual 31-20 and are down 83-74 after three.

Foye went nuts from behind the arc and put this game out of reach going 8-9 from deep and scoring 26 points. The Nets 17 turnovers once again did them in and they couldn’t fight back and get stops in the fourth. Bad loss for Brooklyn who is now 4-3 on this trip with one more to play at Cleveland. Nets lose 116-107.

STAT OF THE GAME: Jazz backcourt of Foye-Williams had 46 points and went 10-11 from deep co pared to Brooklyn’s backcourt of Williams-Bogans scored 24 points w/o Joe Johnson.

GAMECHANGER: – Randy Foye hitting 3 straight 3-pointers early in third to opened up the game and gave the Jazz the momentum and they didn’t look back.
