The Brooklyn Nets beat the Oklahoma City Thunder by a score of 95-93 in OKC.

The Nets were coming off a horrible blowout loss to the Spurs and the first half of this game looked much like the game prior.  The Nets were sloppy and didn’t show enough energy to compete with the Thunder on their home court.

Brooklyn was outscored 33-15 in the second quarter to be down 59-44 at half.  Things did not look good for the Nets coming out of halftime.

The Thunder led by 16 points late in the third quarter and by 10 with just under seven minutes to play, but the Nets finished the game on a 16-4 run holding OKC to just 2-for-8 shooting and forcing four turnovers.

The Thunder had 14 second half turnovers leading to 20 Brooklyn points.  OKC led by as many as 16 but the Thunder offense could only generate a season-low 34 second half points.

Deron Williams had a huge night with a season-high 29 points, five steals and four assists to help give the Nets a chance in the fourth to steal the win.

Joe Johnson hit a jumper in the face of Serge Ibaka at the buzzer to cap off a stunning rally that gave the Nets a thrilling 95-93 win over the Oklahoma City Thunder.

“I thought as a team we did a great job of keeping it close and coming up with big plays especially in the fourth and down the stretch. We made it tough on KD. Coach drew up the play in the huddle and the rest his history” said Johnson.
