[box]The Brooklyn Nets lost to the Minnesota Timberwolves last night by a score of 111-81 in Minnesota.

The Nets lost this game right after they got off the bus at the Target Center.  They came out and did not look like they even wanted to play and it showed when they got down 30-14 after the first quarter.

Tysahwn Taylor, Tornike Shengelia and Mason Plumlee entered the game in the first quarter and that tells you everything you need to know about the Nets effort level. Taylor played 24 minutes, Shengelia played 22 minutes and Mirza Teletovic played 15 minutes in this blowout loss.Andray Blatche layup vs Timberwolves

Andray Blatche came off the bench to lead Brooklyn with 16 points but turned the ball over four times in the first half alone.

Paul Pierce was again non existent going 2-for-11 scoring six points.

Brooklyn had seven total assists and the Timberwolves had 28 assists.

Kevin Garnett had enough in the third quarter and got into it with Kevin Love when he sent a forearm shiver to Love’s chest. Garnett then received an unjust technical and a flagrant foul for the scuffle.

The Timberwolves scored six points on that possession alone and then ran off a 16-0 run to put the Nets down by 30.  Game over.

[quote_box]”We created this monster. We’ve got to deal with it,” Garnett seethed. “You’re going to have the business of basketball come into play I’m sure and management is probably going to do what they’ve got to do, but that’s out of our hands.

We’ve got to control our own destiny, who we are as individuals and players. So like I said, for the fifth time, look at yourself and try to fix this thing.”[/quote_box]

[box]KEY STATS: The Nets gave up 17 offensive rebounds and turned it over an incredible 20 times.
