The game tonight at Barclays Center between the San Antonio Spurs and the Brooklyn Nets just lost a little bit more juice, if that was even possible, with news coming out that Tim Duncan will now sit as well as Tony Parker (back) and Manu Ginobili (hamstring) and Kwahi Leonard (fractured hand).

The Spurs won a double-overtime game in Washington last night 125-118 and lost Parker after 18 minutes and had to play Duncan 40 minutes to get the win.

The game is on TNT tonight so it is ironic that Greg Popovich will now sit Duncan and be without four of the five starters for a national television game.  The players will all be with the team so I don’t think newly minted NBA commissioner Adam Silver will get too mad.
