The Brooklyn Nets have now confirmed the signings of Cory Jefferson, the 60th and final pick of this year’s NBA draft and Markel Brown, the 44th pick to multi-year contracts.

Jefferson’s Instagram post yesterday stated:

“It’s official, Thank God .. Matthew 20:16 #Contract #BrooklynNet #Blessed #MoreToCome”

Jefferson played for the Nets’ Summer League team in Orlando and averaged 11.2 ppg, 6.8 rpg, 1.4 spg and 1.6 bpg in just 21.4 mpg.

His athleticism is overwhelming with a 7’0 wingspan and 37″ maximum vertical which is something that the Nets lacked the past few seasons.

Baylor won 107 games in Jefferson’s 4 active seasons, most of any player in school history, and advanced to 3 NCAA Tournaments.

Brown also played for the Nets’ Summer League team in Orlando and averaged 10.0 ppg, 4.2 rpg, 3.2 apg and .6o spg in just 26.0 mpg.

Brown is the only player in Oklahoma State history to record 1,500 points, 500 rebounds, 300 assists, 100 blocks and 100 steals.

Brown retweeted congratulations on his contract yesterday as well.

Brown had a message to all the Miami Heat fans –
