NETS STARTERS
The starting lineup will be  Deron Williams playing alongside  Shaun Livingston in the backcourt with  Joe Johnson and Paul Pierce up front and the man in the middle Kevin Garnett.

The Nets just got their doors blown off last night in Portland and looked horrible in the process losing 124-80 and the score doesn’t even tell how bad it was.

The loss dropped them to 2-2 on this current six-game road trip and tonight they will be facing a Nuggets team that have lost eight of nine entering the game.

NUGGETS STARTERS

The Nuggets starting lineup will be Aaron Brooks and Randy Foye in the backcourt with Wilson Chandler, Kenneth Faried and  Timofy Mozgov playing in the frontcourt.

Denver has won six in a row vs. the Nets and seven of the last nine at home so they are hoping for another stinker by Brooklyn to help them out of their funk.

The Nuggets have lost eight of their last nine games be most of them have been blowouts after starting the season on the right track. Injuries have decimated the team and they are reeling so a win is a must.

Game Notes:

Jason Kidd was in his last full season with the Nets the last time they won in Denver 1/27/07.

Brooklyn is looking for their second straight victory in the second game of a back-to-back.

Kevin Garnett needs to score 14 points to pass Alex English and move into 14th  place on the NBA’s all-time points list.

[quote_simple]WHAT TO LOOK FOR

Pick up the pieces

The debacle that took place in Portland was one of the most unacceptable losses in Nets history and it was the Nets’ worst loss since a 110-63 defeat at Memphis on Dec. 13, 2003.

It was HORRENDOUS.

Brooklyn will try to improve on a 3-10 mark in the second half of back-to-back games and avoid a seventh straight loss in Denver.

Rebounding has been a major issue and once again they were outrebounded 53-29 by the TrailBlazers so if they want to have a chance to snap their losing streak in Denver they better show up on the glass.
