NETS STARTERS
The starting lineup will be  Deron Williams playing alongside  Shaun Livingston in the backcourt with  Joe Johnson and Paul Pierce up front and the man in the middle Mason Plumlee.

Brooklyn did what he had to do and went into Milwaukee Saturday night and scrapped out a win against the worst team in the NBA 107-98 to finish their circus road trip 4-2.

This will be a big test to see if this Nets team can play with the same level of intensity as the Bulls do and make a statement with a big home win against a team that owns them.

BULLS STARTERS

The Bulls starting lineup will be Kirk Hinrich and Jimmy Butler in the backcourt with Mike Dunleavy, Carlos Boozer and  Joakim Noah playing in the frontcourt.

The Bulls just trounced the Knicks yesterday in Chicago  109-90 and the score did not even tell the story of how bad a beating it was for Chicago.

The Bulls were up 16-1 before you blinked and Noah was the spark as he put together a great game of  13 points, 12 rebounds and 14 assist in the victory. The Bulls are 18-8 since the calendar changed years which is one of the best records in the NBA.

Game Notes:

The Nets are looking for their fifth straight home victory and their third straight victory overall.

If Brooklyn wins they would improve the Nets to .500 for the first time since 11/15/13 when the Nets were 2-2.

The Nets are looking to avoid being swept by the Bulls in a season series for the first time since 1997-98

[quote_simple]WHAT TO LOOK FOR

Make a statement

The Nets have been beaten up by this Chicago team for two years running and nothing seems to change when they play.

The Bulls own the Nets and are simply in the heads of Brooklyn as it is obvious to see from any fans prospective.

The two previous game between these two team ended up with Chicago winning by a combined 33 points and laughing while doing it.

Tonight is the night for the Nets to make a statement and avoid being swept by the braggadocios Bulls.
