NETS STARTERS
The starting lineup will be  Deron Williams playing alongside  Shaun Livingston in the backcourt with  Joe Johnson and Paul Pierce up front and the man in the middle Mason Plumlee.

The Nets won a hard fought home victory Wednesday night when they outlasted the gritty Bobcats 104-99 as DWill and Johnson led the way with 45 points hitting some timely baskets down the stretch.

The Nets are looking to set their season-best 11th straight home victory tonight against the Celtics and take the season series 3-1 with Boston.

Brooklyn dropped a clunker in Boston last week to the Celtics 91-84.

Andrei Kirilenko will play once again with a sprained left big toe.

Kevin Garnett will miss a 11th straight game due to back spasms and will be re-evaluated this weekend.

CELTICS STARTERS

The Celtics starting lineup will be Rajon Rondo and Avery Bradley in the backcourt with Jeff Green, Brandon Bass and  Kris Humphries playing in the frontcourt.

The Celtics are coming off a home win against a Heat team that rested Lebron James on Wednesday night 101-96.

Boston had lost five in a row until Wednesday and is doing its best to just get through the season and see what draft picks they will have at their disposal.

Humphries is playing very well since being inserted into the starting lineup at center giving the soft Celtics a guy who can put up a double=double and play good defense in spurts.

GAME NOTES:

The win would be the Nets 11th in a row at Barclays Center.

If the Nets win it would be the first time the Nets have won both matchups at home with the Celtics in a season since 2005-06.

Brooklyn is one of just four teams this season to win 10+ straight games at home.

[quote_simple]WHAT TO LOOK FOR

Bring the Truth

Paul Pierce has averaged a measly 6.7 points on 6-of-24 shooting in three meetings against his former team since being traded to Brooklyn.

The Nets have won two of those games but in order for Brooklyn to keep their home streak rolling Pierce will need to show up much bigger tonight and impose his will.

Each game from this point on is a playoff game and seeding is being changed nightly so a win against his former team is a must.

Brooklyn stands at 2.5 games behind the division leading Raptors who play the Thunder tonight.
