NETS STARTERS
The starting lineup will be  Deron Williams playing alongside  Shaun Livingston in the backcourt with  Joe Johnson and Paul Pierce up front and the man in the middle Mason Plumlee.

The Nets came out on Monday night and put a wire-to-wire victory together against a very good Phoenix Suns team in a 108-95 runaway win for a ninth straight at home.

Brooklyn shot an amazing 57 percent from the field behind great games from Williams and Johnson who combined for 47 points and nine assists.

The Nets are looking to set their season-best 10th straight home victory tonight against the Bobcats.

Andrei Kirilenko will play tonight after being a gametime decision with a sprained left big toe.

Kevin Garnett will miss a tenth straight game due to back spasms and will be re-evaluated this weekend.

BOBCATS STARTERS

The Bobcats starting lineup will be Kemba Walker and Gerald Henderson in the backcourt with Michael Kidd-Gilchrist, Josh McRoberts and  Al Jefferson playing in the frontcourt.

The Bobcats are coming off a home loss to the Hawks Monday night 97-83 where they shot a putrid 35 percent from the field and looked flat.

Jefferson has averaged 25 points per game in10 games this month and is playing lights out basketball right now.  The Nets limited him to 12 points in a 105-89 loss in Brooklyn on Feb. 12.

Walker has totaled 47 points while leading the Bobcats in scoring in both games against Brooklyn this season and always give Williams trouble with his quickness.

Game Notes:

The Nets are going for their 17th  victory in their last 19 home games.

The seventh-place Bobcats have a chance to move within 1 1/2 games of the Nets in the East with a win.

The Nets and Rockets hold the longest active home winning streaks in the NBA (nine games).

[quote_simple]WHAT TO LOOK FOR

Keep their distance

The Nets need to take care of business tonight and put the Bobcats to bed early with a good first quarter to mirror what they did Monday night to the Suns.

This Charlotte team has played very well this past month and have six out of it last eight games to get within two games of .500 and fighting for playoff position.

The win would be the Nets 10th in a row at Barclays Center and at the same time put one more game between themselves and Charlotte in the standings.

Brooklyn stands at 2.5 games ahead of Charlotte going into tonight.
