[quote_simple]NETS STARTERS
The starting lineup tonight will be Deron Williams playing alongside Joe Johnson in the backcourt with Paul Pierce, Mirza Teletovic up front and the man in the middle Kevin Garnett.

The Nets have now lost six out of their last seven games and four straight on the road so playing the league leading Thunder will surely be a tough task tonight.

Brooklyn has to figure out a rotation that works and summon up the intestinal fortitude to compete at high level every night or this team will not make the playoffs.

Rebounding has become problem number one for the Nets as they continue to be hammered night in and night out on the boards.  The team cannot win games when they are out-rebounded over and over and give up double digit offensive rebounds.

[box]Injury News:

Andrei Kirilenko made it through is first game and practice the next day without problems so it looks like his minutes will increase each game.[/box]

THUNDER STARTERS

The Thunder starting lineup will be Reggie Jackson and Thabo Sefolosha in the backcourt with Kevin Durant, Serge Ibaka and Kendrick Perkins playing in the frontcourt.

Since winning their first 13 home games, the Thunder have dropped two of three on their own floor.  Not normal.

The Thunder were out-rebounded by the Blazers 52-43 and out-scored Portland in second chance points 10-5 in their recent loss 98-94 at home.

Russell Westbrook is still missing as he had another knee procedure done last week so Jackson will run the show for the Durant led Thunder tonight.

[quote_simple][box]Game Notes:

Brooklyn’s has a four-game road losing streak.

The Nets handed the Thunder their worst home defeat of the season (110-93).

Brooklyn is 3-7 in their last 10 games.

[box]WHAT TO LOOK FOR

Repeat of last year?

The Nets handed the Thunder their worst home loss last season with a 110-93 blowout after themselves getting blown out the game before by the Spurs.

The Nets scored 30 points in two separate quarters 33 in the first frame and a season-high 34 points in the fourth quarter.

Brooklyn forced 20 Thunder turnovers that led to 30 points, 11 of which were committed by Russell Westbrook (6) and Kevin Durant (5).

Can the Nets pick up the pieces of the New years Eve debacle and put together a full game like they did last year against the Thunder?
