NETS STARTERS
The starting lineup will be  Deron Williams playing alongside  Shaun Livingston in the backcourt with  Joe Johnson and Paul Pierce up front and the man in the middle Kevin Garnett.

The Nets are coming off a nice 108-102 win over the Lakers on Sunday night and are looking to shock one of the West’s best teams tonight in Portland.

They are now 2-1 on the circus road trip out west and will try to split the season series with Portland in one of the toughest arenas to get a win in the NBA tonight.

TRAILBLAZERS  STARTERS

The Trailblazers starting lineup will be Damian Lillard and Wesley Matthews in the backcourt with Nicolas Batum, Dorell Wright and  Robin Williams playing in the frontcourt.

Trail Blazers go for a four-game winning streak with Lillard trying to repeat his game in Brooklyn where he had 19 with nine assists in a 108-98 road win Nov. 18.

Portland will have to play without one of their All-Stars and main guy in LeMarcus Aldridge as he sits out for a fifth straight game due to a strained left groin.

Game Notes:

The Nets re looking to improve the Nets to 3-1 on their current six-game road trip.

Brooklyn has posted a 16-7 record since the start of January.

Nets are 16-4 when out-rebounding their opponent and they have won 12 straight games in which they’ve out-rebounded their opponent.

[quote_simple]WHAT TO LOOK FOR

Sneak out with a W

The Nets have a golden opportunity to grab a win in Portland with their best player sitting out for the fifth game in a row.

Aldridge led the Blazers with 24 points in the Blazers win in Brooklyn earlier this season.

Deron Williams missed the November loss to Portland due to a sprained left ankle and is looking to build on his season-high 30 points on Sunday in the win over the Lakers.

If Brooklyn can come out with the same energy early like they did in LA they might just end up sneaking out with a W.
