[quote_simple]NETS STARTERS
The starting lineup will be Deron Williams playing alongside Joe Johnson in the backcourt with Alan Anderson,  Mirza Teletovic up front and the man in the middle Brook  Lopez.

The Nets scored a season-high in points in their 130-94 rout of the 76ers on Monday night and look to do the same thing tonight when they visit Philadelphia.

The bad loss to the Wizards is still fresh in mind so hopefully the Nets learned from there lackluster rebounding effort and come to play a bit harder this game.

With Garnett not playing Lopez needs to step it up and bring his A-game along with a rejuvenated Paul Pierce to beat the 76ers who have their rookie point guard phenom back.

[box]Injury News:

Joe Johnson is questionable for personal reasons.

Kevin Garnett will get a “rest day” and will have the night off.

Andrei Kirilenko (back spasms) and Jason Terry (knee) will be out again.[/box]

76ers STARTERS

The 76ers starting lineup will be Michael Carter-Williams and Hollis Thompson in the backcourt with Evan Turner ,Thaddeus Young and Spencer Hawes playing in the frontcourt.

Carter-Williams, averaging 17.7 points, 7.3 assists, 5.8 rebounds and an NBA-leading 3.1 steals so far this season.

MCW has missed the entire seven game losing streak because if a skin infection and sore right knee and with him back in the lineup it will certainly give them a lift.

The 76ers allowed the Nets to set a new franchise-record with 21 made 3-pointers on Monday so guarding the perimeter will be a must for Philly.

[quote_simple][box]Game Notes:

Joe Johnson scored 29 of his Nets career-high 37 points in the third quarter Monday night vs the 76ers.

If the Nets win it would improve Brooklyn’s record to 4-1 in Atlantic Division games

Philadelphia hasn’t lost eight straight since a 12-game skid Nov. 20-Dec. 11, 2009

[box]WHAT TO LOOK FOR

Rebound the damn ball

It was simply embarrassing to see the Nets get humiliated on the glass last game against the Wizards.

The 51-31 rebounding totals don’t even tell the whole story of how bad it was until you see they gave up 19 offensive rebounds.

That is offensive.

It has to happen right from the start tonight for them to not allow another mediocre team think they can win.

Man up Brooklyn and grab a damn rebound.
