[quote_simple]NETS STARTERS

The starting lineup will once again be limited with Shaun Livingston playing alongside Joe Johnson in the backcourt with Paul Pierce, Kevin Garnett and the man in the middle Andray Blatche up front.

No good news on the injury front for the Nets as once again Deron Williams and Brook Lopez will not play and also two keys reserves will not play in Jason Terry and Andrei Kirilenko.

RAPTORS STARTERS

The Raptors starting lineup will be Kyle Lowry and Demar Derozan in the backcourt with Rudy Gay, Amir Johnson and Jonas Valanciunas playing in the frontcourt.

Gay is averaging 20.2 points but shooting a miserable 38.1 percent from the field. When Gay scores at least 20 points the Raptors are 1-5 in the early season so maybe Brooklyn should allow him to score.

Valanciunas, a second-year center, had 11 points and a season-high 13 rebounds Friday and is playing much better than last year.  He is averaging  7.8 boards per game this season and playing much stronger inside.

[quote_simple][box]Game Notes:

Toronto will play its fourth home games in the last 10 days.

The Nets won the 2012-13 season series 3-1 against Toronto and two games were decided by seven points and the other two were decided by six points.

The Nets are looking to snap a five game losing streak and beat a team they have beaten four out of the last five times they have played.

[box]WHAT TO LOOK FOR

Third quarter solution

The Nets have to find some kind of remedy for their third quarter woes or they will never win another game this season.

They have lost 10 third quarters this season and in turn they have lost every single one of those games by a combined 96 points.

The latest 34-15 beat down on Sunday against the Pistons came after the Nets lead by seven at the break.

This has to be fixed and tonight would be a great night to start.
